Gwendolyn Heasley does a great job of capturing the hearts of those who have ever experienced a life tragedy (or what may seem to be a tragedy to a teenager). Corrinne lived a life that most of us could never imagine with unlimited spending and upper class money; however, she has to learn to live a different style of life when those things are taken away. It seems a bit cliche, but the author keeps the reader involved in the small town happenings.
