Breathe, Annie, Breathe

As you know by now, I am a big Hundred Oaks fan,   After reading all these books I feel like I live in their small town with them.  I was really excited to read this book, and a shout out to Hannah Bentzel for encouraging me to read it.   A long time ago, I loved to run, and this book has inspired me to start to love running again.
Annie isn't a runner, but her boyfriend was a runner.  Annie is loyal, so she is going to live out her boyfriend's dream of running a marathon.  It isn't going to be easy, but Annie is determined.  Follow Annie's running adventures as she comes to terms with all life has to offer.

Another Lauren Barnholdt book...

Image result for the thing about the truth

It's just another teen chic novel, but it was the perfect Mother's day read.  Three hours later, the book is complete, and I realize that it was three hours well spent.  A typical story...two teenagers who both get kicked out of private school, yet one of them is the Senator's kid and the other a girl that was on scholarship.  They can either work together or destroy each other completely.  An easy, enjoyable read.

A Tree Grows in my Heart

I love this book!  A big shout out to Jack Foutz who recommended this book to me five years ago.  In my second reading of this book, I still enjoyed every page.  Francie is charming, unpredictably predictable, and lovable.  She never lets anything get in her way, and she is determined to find her happy ever after...whatever that may be.  And the tree...the tree that will forever grow.
